Today I am going to share my childhood memories through this video of a show called Art Attack. Kids of the 90's will know what I am talking about. It is a show where the host, Neil Buchanan, shows you how to make things like cardboard and unused papers into art. I remember that PVC glue and tissue papers are very common in this show. He almost use those stuff all the time to make something. Thanks to Art Attack, I can see my potential in art when I was a kid. The show is still ongoing until now but Neil has been replaced by some Asian dude. Apparently, Neil is now playing in a heavy metal band called Marseille as the lead guitarist. Surprise, surprise.

Wishlist: Leathery Goods
I used to be a girl who only wears sneakers or a pair of sandals. Mainly because of the weather here in Jakarta. One day, I bought my first pair of wedges at H&M Milan and since then I got hooked by these skyscrapers shoes. That pair of nude wedges is the only shoes that I have that will gives you extra height. Really, I only have one pair. Thank you for its neutral color, I can wear it with almost everything.
Now, have you ever seen a thing on the store that makes you think I must have it and what can I do to get it? The picture of it stays in your mind and you want it so bad. Well, that is what happened to me when I saw a pair of platform shoes at TOPSHOP. It is a black leather shoes with straps and brown platform. Not to mention the perfect soles that makes it has a perfect grip on the floor. I believe it would be the perfect shoes for me. The first reason is the color, it will go with any color. The second reason is the material, which is leather. Well, I have a thing for leathery goods especially in black or tan color. That is why. Talking about leathery goods, I also found a pair of boots that I like. It has studs, which, I really into at the moment. I wish these could be mine.
1) Super Ankle Strap Platforms. 2) Arabel Cut Out Studded Boots. All from TOPSHOP.

Wishlist: Boots For Muds
Hello folks, I just got back from my 7-days long trip to Singapore yesterday. I went there for holiday and of course, the big Christmas sale. I must say that it was a rare occasion because my mom, who thinks that relaxing from work is by staying home, planned all of the trip. We went to Singapore Art Museum, Sentosa Island, Universal Studio, and of course, shopping centers. I bought a lot of things there, especially clothes and accessories. But there is one thing that I am still looking for, it is a pair of boots for outdoor music festival. This is one of my regrets because I did not think of it until I went back home. I searched the internet for Dr. Martens boots which is very popular (but somewhat, in my opinion, overrated) and found some pairs that I love.
1) Evan Blue + Cherry Red + Green. 2) Castel Red. 3) Toya Tan.
Amongst three of them, my favorite is Toya Tan. It looks very comfortable, neat, and will go with any color of clothing because of its neutral color. That kind of boots is also suitable for me because I am not that tall. It is so in my wishlist but it made me stare hopelessly into my laptop screen when I saw the price. Well, I need to start saving money.

Inside the Closet: The Lost Watch
Everyone has their own favorite accesories that they wear everyday. Maybe some of you have a pair of earrings as your favorite or maybe some of you have a pair of jeans that you never wash because you like it so much. For me, my favorite item is my nude Swatch watch. It has a thin nude-colored strap made of some kind of rubber that feels soft on the skin. The watch suits any kind of clothing, probably because of the simple design and nude color. That is why I love it.
Unfortunately, I lost the watch at my school. I believe that I put the watch in my bag and after that I accidentally dropped it somewhere near the teacher's toilet when I took out my sweater from my bag. I asked everyone about it, I even asked the janitors in my school and none of them found it. I haven't told my parents about it though. Maybe I will not tell them until I find the right time to talk, especially to my mom who bought me the watch. I hope I find it soon. Or should I buy a new one?
I just found out the name of the watch, it is Ivory Softness.

J'adore Dior, Le Parfum
I love how this short film captured the beauty of perfume making process. Now it is very reasonable why this perfume is pricey and I think it is worth the price.
Music Monday: Love Song
I used to hate Korean boyband until I found out about Big Bang. It is a Korean boyband consist of T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, Seungri, and G-Dragon as the leader. Their
music, styles, and performances (which are different from others) lured
me to become one of their fans.
My friend told me that to understand the charm of Korean boyband/girlband you need to see them in person. Let me tell you, it is true. My favorite amongst Big Bang is T.O.P., the main rapper of the group who has sharp eyes and a beautiful jawline. As I told you yesterday, I went to Big Bang's concert last month and when I saw him at the concert, I literally shed some tears. No kidding.

Overall, it was an amazing concert and I must admit it that it is the best concert in my life. Great stage, great fans services, and amazing performances. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy it until a few minutes after the concert began. Mainly it was because of the fans' shoving. The situation was very hectic and I think it was worse than mosh pit at metal concerts. Again, no kidding
So here is a video of my favorite Big Bang's song, Love Song. By the way, this music video made with only one take. すごい!

Music Monday: One Out Of Two
Maybe you have heard about it, maybe you have not. One Out Of Two is the latest single from Breakbot's first album, 'By Your Side'. In this song, Thibaut Berland (Breakbot's real name) collaborated with his old pal, Irfane. If you are a fan of Breakbot, you must have heard about that guy. He is the guy who sang in Breakbot's most famous (in my opinion) single, 'Baby I'm Yours'. I have been waiting for him to release an album and now it finally comes in vinyl record too! I wonder when will the vinyl record comes to Indonesia.....or should I order it online?

P.S. You must see the chocolate vinyl for the album's promotion! (Click the link below)

Chloe Spring/Summer 2013
Yesterday, the Chloe Spring/Summer 2013 show broadcasted live on
the internet. I have waited since 8 pm for it and it finally started at
9.30 pm. It was a great show. I love the colors of this
season's collection: white, deep navy blue, powder pink, and sunflower
orche. In my personal opinion, those colors are very Chloe. The soft and
feminine colors somehow resembles an elegant yet
independent women. I love all of them but my favorite is the silk
jacquard bermudas and oversized t-shirt that are adorned with oversized
hibiscus flowers. Even though it will not suit me, I love it. The shoes
are neat. The metallic color shoes with its simple design really interest
me, especially the red , gold, and silver pairs. I think it looks good with any
kind of clothing and the shoes will not overpowering the clothes.

Inside the Closet: Muji Reused Yarn Socks
Socks are very essential. You wear it to school, to work, to gym, or if you just want to keep your feet warm in bed. It doesn't have to be wear with sneakers, you can wear it under your oxford shoes or even with high heels or wedges if you want to. For me, socks are a soulmate to sneakers. I usually wear the basic white colored socks or the black colored one to school. Not because I choose to but because I only have those colors in my drawers. A few days ago, I saw these cute socks in Muji and I decided to buy it. The package comes with five pair of socks in random colors. The material they use to make these cute socks are reused yarn. I think I will buy some more later. Maybe I will buy a new scarf and perhaps a new flats too.
By the way, if you wondering why there are only four socks in the picture below, well I use the other one the day before I took this photo so it was still in the laundry room.

Music Monday: I Belong In Your Arms
This is not my first time listening to Chairlift's song. My friend showed me a video of Chairlift's song, Amanaemonesia, several months ago and that was my first time watching Chairlift music video. The weird dance routine still haunting me until now. Found a link to this music video from Florence + The Machines' facebook page and I clicked on the link immediately because Florence said,
"I have a crush on Caroline Chairlift, the japanese version of 'I belong in your arms' is dreamy xx"
Well, it is. The English version is good but the one with Japanese lyric is my favorite. Caroline looks so beautiful in the end of the video where her hair is floating in the air. Also, I have a crush on her new skunk hair. So rad. I wish I could dye my hair just like her.

Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 Ready-to-Wear
There are plenty of looks from Spring 2013 Ready-to-Wear season that I adore but this one really caught my attention. Usually, I hate shocking pink because I think it is tacky. I still tolerate soft pink or any kind of pink but NOT shocking pink. Well, I changed my opinion about it after seeing Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 RTW Collection; I am so in love with the shocking pink blazer and dress! It looks so good with the addition of those little green silk pompoms that swing every time the model walks on the runaway. I wish I could wear the shocking pink dress (also with those cute little green silk pompoms) to my prom.

Iris Van Herpen Haute Couture F/W 2012/2013
Iris Van Herpen is a dutch fashion designer. She design her collection with the combination of fine handwork techniques and futuristic digital technology. This collection is my first introduction to her design and I find it very interesting. If you see the video (you can see it after the jump), you can see why. The movement of the clothes, the design, the pattern, and the colors; it makes me want to touch and feel the garments with my own pair of hands. I know it is kind of weird but do not blame me, blame the awesomely design collection!

The Happiness Project
I am a thinker, I always know that I am. I think about anything that I can think about, even the silliest and the most unimportant thing. My friend said that this is my bad habit, even though I think it is a good habit sometimes. Well, I must confess that I tend to think about problems that I faced in life over and over and over again even the tiniest part of it. I suppose that is the reason I have been feeling like a crap for a while. I think about my friendships, my family, my own life, etc. etc. etc. and it makes me feel really depressed, sad, and lonely for some reason. The point is, sometimes I over think.
I do not want to be miserable all my life, especially in my youth (which is now). So I decided to make a little project for my own sake, I called it: The Happiness Project.

N˚5
The first time I take a close look of the famous perfume from the famous french label is when my dad came back from South Korea a few years ago and he bought a bottle of Chanel N˚5 for my mom. It is very beautiful and mesmerizing. The shape of the bottle, the color of the liquid, and of course, the smell of it. Sometimes I secretly use it without my mom's permission. Every time I use it, I always feel more elegant in some way.
Take a look inside the factory of Chanel N˚5.

I am no good at making and taking care of a blog. I have made dozens of blog since I was in elementary school and none of it made it until now. I always have this urge to make a new one whenever I think my old one is boring, and this one (the blog) is a the result of that urge.
Last month, I found a book called 'The Teen Vogue Handbook' in a bookstore not far from my school. I always know that I have an interest in the world of art and I want to work in that industry someday. So I decided to buy it and take a look at it, to study it perhaps. In that book, you will find a lot of inspiring and successful people that you can take learn from. One of them was a blogger named Natalie Hormilla, her words actually encourage me to make a blog (for the thousands of times) again.
And from this day on, I will take care of this blog and update it every time I have a chance to do it. I will update it with my own experience even tough I mostly spend my time in my house, doing not that interesting stuff. I am going to share you my not-that-grand life. Ha!
