Kale Drogo

I am a HUGE fan of Game of Thrones. I first saw it on HBO and thought, "what is this medieval series?". But then I decided to watch the season 2 marathon and the more I watched it, the more interesting it got. The story line, the script, the character, the costumes, all of them is amazing. If you have not watched it, you better start it right now.

I just found these pictures from a meme tumblr of Game of Thrones. It made me giggles and if you are a Game of Throne's fans too, you will find this pretty funny too. Here are some of my favorites.

So Many Dumb Ways To Die

I can't get this song out of my head. This catchy tunes from Metro is made to remind people not to do stuff because it is a dumb way to die. It is sung by Tangerine Kitty. You can download the song from their official soundcloud or iTunes (you can find the link on the video explanation). Well, I found a 10 hours loop of this video on Youtube. No, I will not watch it because I can't even finish the one hour loop version of it.

The Greens

Since my favorite from Burberry and Oscar de la Renta Resort 2014 is less that two looks, I am going to make it into one post instead of the individual post like the usual. First of all, what I will highlight from these two looks are the color, which is green. It has been one of my favorite colors since God knows when. The color somehow looks very refreshing, and the darker hues looks very calming and warm to me. 

This lime green dress is my favorite from The Oscar de la Renta Resort 2014. To be honest, the rest of the collection looks kind of old-ish and boring to me. They are all looks very Oscar de la Renta to me, but I do not think most of it suits my personal taste. This dress looks very refreshing and scream 'spring' to me with the blue flower details. I would like to wear this to my prom night but unfortunately the hem line will not suit my body type since it will 'cut' my height. Oh well, it still looks very cute.

This is the only looks that I adore from Burberry Resort 2014. The sarong-like skirt looks very chic. The green sweater also looks very comfortable. Actually, the whole looks seems very comfortable but chic at the same time. I would wear this kind of looks to my work place (someday). Oh, do not forget the chic white shoes! I am so into white stuff at the moment.

Moschino Cheap And Chic Resort 2014

Let's just get to it. The long-sleeved white dress with the ribbons looks very cute. The white shoes paired with the white dress looks very clean and crisp to me. The teal colored bag gives a pop of color to the look. I can see myself with the whole looks. In the second looks, my favorite is the green watering can bag. One word, cute. And the last looks, the colorful motif of the dress has made me love the dress. 

Just Cavalli Resort 2014

List of things that I love from this collection:

1. The blue blazer and pants.

2. The white minimalist shift dress AND the sick choker necklace. 

Just look at THAT. I want it.

3. The cute dress with busy patterns.

4. The yellow polkadot pants. I can see me wearing it with a simple white shirt.

Elie Tahari Resort 2014

Elie Tahari. Despite of the fact that it was my first time hearing the name, I found the collections are pretty interesting. But amongst all of the looks, my favorites are these three. As you can see in my previous post (other previous posts), I am into minimalist stuff. The two white dresses above are very chic. The other one is the silk shift dress with some lime green laser-light motif. It looks very chic too.

DKNY Resort 2014

I am kind of into simple cut clothing at the moment. You know, minimalist stuff. That is why I love the blue and yellow dresses. The black trousers with yellow line is also very chic. I think it will looks good on me since vertical lines can give an illusion of being taller. Do not forget about the very chic gold bomber jacket.

Today's journal:

Laying on the bed watching some videos on Youtube on my phone. Decided to order Lotteria chicken and sweet potatoes bucket in large size because dad is going to his friend's daughter/son's wedding. Still wondering when will my Vanity Trove box arrive?

Not really loving this season's looks from Christian Dior but I managed to pick some of them that I like. The shiny fabric on the green dress looks so beautiful. Not a big fan of the weird pants revealing part of it though. The dark blue dress looks so beautiful with the extra fabric that looks like a smoke when it moves. The last dress, well, it looks very pretty. Look at the colors!

Chanel Resort 2014

The only looks that I like from Chanel Resort 2014. Somehow, Chanel gets kind of boring every season. The only thing that I always love from Chanel is their grand runaway designs. It always amaze me.

Today's journal:

My dad woke up at 11 AM. He told me that today is the day I sign my college agreement contract. I am not annoyed by it but somehow I woke up with a bad mood today. Had a lunch with my dad. Ate a deep fried fish with sambal and rice. Nothing really interesting so far.

Bottega Veneta Resort 2014

Got nothing to do today. Woke up at 7 AM, decided to sleep again and in the end I woke up at 11 AM. I have wasted my day. Actually, I planned to bring my cats to the vet. But I didn't go because I am currently short on money. Oh well, I think I will just wait until mom come back from Makassar.

These are my favorite looks from Bottega Veneta Resort 2014. All of them looks so comfortable and chic. I can see myself wearing these everyday. The shoes are also very cute, look at those kitten heels!

Diesel Black Gold Resort 2014

Today I went to visit my uncle at hospital. I brought my homemade boston cream cupcakes that I made a day before. He still looks weak but he will be going home tomorrow. The doctor said he need to have more energy first if he want to do the operation. I mean, he needs to get in a better condition. After my uncle, I visited a friend of my dad, he is very ill. In the end, we did not meet him but instead we met his wife. She is a nice woman. My role today is as a driver of my dad. I drove him to the hospital, place to eat, and home. Well, at least I got the chance to practice my driving skill.

Nowadays, I am so into blazer. I do not know why but it makes me looks mature. With my petite body,  a lot of people still call me 'Dek'. I do not know if it is a compliment or not. As you can see from my chosen looks of Diesel Black Gold Resort 2014, I also into white stuff. Another thing that I am STILL into is leather jacket. It is so hard to find a leather jacket that fit you perfectly. I inherited a black leather blazer from my mom's wardrobe but it is too big for me! It looks like a coat rather than a jacket in me. Besides the type of clothing, what I love about this collection is the color palette which is black, white, grey, plus neutral and earthy colors. This kind of colors will go with anything. It will not be hard to combine with other stuff.

Music Monday: Sæglópur by Sigur Rós

Since I am still in the euphoria, I will share one of the best moment of Sigur Rós' concert in Jakarta. Well, the ENTIRE concert is the best moment but I can't post the whole thing. This song is beautiful itself, with the addition of the beautiful visuals and lightings it became more magical. You can find other videos of their concert on YouTube. You can check the song list on my last post.  Truly, the best night of my life.

The Day I Watched Sigur Ros

It finally happened, one of my bucket list needs to be crossed off, I watched Sigur Ros' concert!

It was at Istora Senayan and since it was Friday (10th May), I decided to go there earlier. I arrived there at 4 PM. It was way too early because the gate opened at 7 PM. Oh well, better sooner that late. I met a few school friends there and we ended up watching Sigur Ros together. Got pretty close to the stage but a very tall white guy were infront of me and blocking my view. Thanks to the white guy's friend who let me stand infront of him, I got to the fourth row and got a better view. 

{ The dramatic opening }

The opening was very dramatic. The very wide and tall kind of translucent sheet used as a screen for the visuals and silhouettes. In the middle of the second song, the sheet fell down and revealed a stage with wide screen on the back and lots of lightbulbs stand scattered amongst the band member and additional players. The entire concert was very, very beautiful and mesmerizing. The music, the visuals,  the lightings, the atmosphere. This band really pay attention to the smallest detail. Best night of my life. Definitely worth the money and time. This is, truly, THE BEST CONCERT OF MY LIFE.

I tried to get the setlist but unfortunately it's not my lucky day (read: I am too short to jump to grab it). So, I just take a picture of it from those who lucky enough to get it. Some of the lucky people even got guitar picks and drum sticks. Lucky bastards.

Batik Dinner

First of all, I should have wrote about this several weeks ago but I do not have time for it since I am busy with another things (by things, I mean mangas and tv series to catch up).

It was a 18th birthday dinner of one of my friends, Selma. As you can see in the title, the dresscode for the dinner is batik. The birthday girl herself wore a beautiful red dress along with a pair of leopard patterned heels. I've been to the place of the birthday dinner before, which is Capital Grille at Senopati. In my opinion, the place is nice but the food is...um, I got a cold fish on my plate. Well, maybe the waitresses got confused and very busy because of the crowded situation. It was delicious though. I also had fun, met lots of friends, and took photos for the project.
